About Daniel Kramer Photography
Hi and thanks for visiting my wedding site. I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin where my father played football for Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers.
I have a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, where I also played rugby, and an M.F.A. in Photojournalism from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
As a photojournalist, I have traveled all over the world and have had the privilege of photographing some of the icons of our time: Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and Frank Sinatra to name just a few.
My photography has been published in Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, among many others, and has won local, national and international awards. (If you'd like to see my photojournalism website, please visit: www.dankphotos.com)
Since 2008, I have been teaching photography at Rice University’s School of Continuing Education. In my free time, I am also an actively exhibiting fine art photographer and have exhibited locally, national and internationally with work in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. But my most special exhibits are in the hearts and homes of brides like you.
I’ve been photographing weddings in Houston for more than 10 years and I truly love the privilege of telling wedding stories. It’s right in line with my MFA in documentary photography. I’m a six-time winner of the First Place Photo Package Award from the Houston Press Club and I’d love to creatively capture the emotions, the details and the special moments of your wedding story that will make you laugh and cry years from now.
Your wedding album isn’t just a collection of photographs taken at your event. It’s an heirloom that you’ll share with your children. Long after your bouquet is thrown, the music has stopped and your guests have gone home, your wedding album will remain to remind you of the wonders of the day.
Please call me at 832-978-2046 to arrange an appointment to bring your wedding visions to life.
